Nature

Buiding a global alliance with indigenous cultures.  We come together keeping our differences and honoring our cultural diversity; but above all, working with a common purpose:

PROTECTING INDIGENOUS CULTURES AND THEIR TERRITORIES TO THRIVE AGAIN.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We forged an alliance with indigenous cultures to preserve and regenerate the biodiversity of the second largest ecosystem in Latin America, also contributing to action against the global climate crisis.

YOU CAN MAKE A
DIFFERENCE TODAY!

Support our projects in the communities with just a few clicks, to regenerate the Chaco thanks to the wisdom and knowledge of the indigenous communities.

Perhaps you think that it is little and that it is not worth it, but you are wrong! Every minimal support we receive allows us to generate a direct impact in the Argentine Gran Chaco and improve the lives of indigenous families. Wichi Alliance is carrying out various projects with indigenous communities in the territory of the Gran Chaco.

You can make donations to Alianza Wichi in two ways:

Supporting Alianza Wichi with a general donation, which will be allocated to our projects. You can support us permanently (per month) or once.

If you prefer, you can choose the specific project that interests you. Discover them below!

CO-DESIGN

Alianza Wichi works according to a co-design methodology based on collective and consensual work.

Project co-design is a collaborative and participatory approach that seeks to involve indigenous communities in all stages of project development. This approach recognizes that indigenous communities are the guardians of their territories and possess in-depth knowledge of their natural and social environment.

Its central objective is to strengthen the autonomy and empowerment of indigenous communities, promoting their active participation in decision-making and in the management of projects that affect their territories and ways of life. It also seeks to guarantee respect for their human and cultural rights, as well as the protection of their traditional knowledge and their biocultural heritage.
